Horticulture and Crop Science professor Clay Sneller earns Honorable Mention in the Arts and Culture Category of the 2018 International Photography Exhibition for his image "Sunday Dance." He captured the images in Merida, Mexico in March 2015. "Merida is a wonderful colonial Mexican city on the Yucatan peninsula, but far off the tourist route. Every Sunday evening Merida has a folk dance event next to their wonderful central Plaza. What strikes me is that they do this for themselves, not for the few tourists. The crowd of viewers is large and mostly locals.
