Description

“I’m so grateful to have gotten the chance to spend 3 weeks studying in Rwanda with an amazing group of people," reflects sociology and anthropology double-major Kali Krockover. Organized by The Ohio State University Department of Sociology, Kali studied on the "Genocide and Its Aftermath in Rwanda" program this summer. "As hard as I try not to be the cringey white girl that says “Africa changed me,” immersing myself in Rwandan culture and history really did open up my worldview and allowed me to have the greatest possible experience. The land of a thousand hills is humbling, beautiful, and resilient and I can’t wait to go back someday.” #BuckeyesAbroad #GenerationStudyAbroad
