DISCO Ball: A Celebration with the Society for Disability Studies

The Diversity and Identity Studies Collective (DISCO) Graduate Caucus and Disability Studies Program are delighted to invite you to an evening of cross-cultural networking, including dinner, discussion, and dancing. (Festive attire, as you define that, is welcome!)

The evening will kick off with an address from Mimi Khúc, a scholar of Asian American Studies, disability studies, and queer of color feminism. After dinner, you'll mingle with members of the Society for Disability Studies, as well as attendees of the Multiple Perspectives conference, OSU friends, and community partners. At 9 pm, we'll roll back the carpets (figuratively) and start the dancing!

This event is free and open to the public, and all are invited. In order to ensure that food and access arrangements are adequate, all attendees must register, using this registration form. This brief form will ask about your needs and preferences regarding food, child care, CART, sign interpretation, and other access issues.
