Glenn College Spotlight Highlighting: Finding your dream job in your home state Featuring: Brendan Lin WAIP Alumni/ JGLC Member Major: Economics Class of Spring 2016 After participating in WAIP and securing the first ever position at the U.S. Department of the Treasury, Brendan Lin was able to leverage this internship into an internship with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. The FDIC is a government agency famous for insuring bank deposits, regulating banks, and managing bank failures. At the conclusion of the internship, Lin received a job offer. Now, after earning his Bachelor of Science in Economics, Lin will be moving back to his home state of California to work as a Financial Institution Specialist, where he will help supervise and regulate the institutions that make up the financial system.
